设计哲学
我们相信，建筑拥有自发的生命活力。它根植于具体的人、场地、历史与自然，也源于记忆、想象与梦境。MACH 擅长从现实中捕捉这些隐约而具体的线索，通过建筑学的抽象、组织与建造，将其转化为空间、材料与秩序，让不可言说的经验化为可感知的形体。
我们关注使用者，并将他们的情感与价值观融入建筑。在此基础上，我们探索空间原型与当代生活的关系、传统经验与现代技术的延续。我们试图在现实与想象之间建立一种建筑学的连续性——以理性的精确容纳诗意的感知，在有限的现实中，寻找建筑持续生长的可能。
实践技术
MACH 的设计涵盖建筑、室内、景观、展陈及家具设计，重视从概念到建造的完整性，相信真正的建筑品质诞生于想象与现实的不断往返之中。我们具备全专业技术协调、造价控制与施工落地经验，擅长材料、构造、色彩与尺度的系统化设计；特别擅长对既有建筑进行“手术”式的精准改造，探索现代技术与古典工艺的当代结合，以及根据项目特质开发专属的建造系统，在建造效率与品质控制之间取得平衡。
MACH Architects is a Beijing-based architecture practice founded by Wenlei Ma and Pu Cheng in 2021. The pairing of a Dutch and an Italian education gives the practice both technical rationality and artistic intuition.
Design Philosophy
We believe architecture possesses a vitality of its own. It is rooted in specific people, places, histories and nature, and it is born equally of memory, imagination and dreams. MACH is adept at tracing these faint yet concrete clues in reality and, through the abstraction, organisation and construction of architecture, transforming them into space, material and order — so that ineffable experience becomes perceptible form.
We attend to the people who use our buildings, weaving their emotions and values into the work. On that foundation, we explore the relationship between spatial typology and contemporary life, and the continuity between traditional experience and modern technology. We seek an architectural continuity between reality and imagination — to hold poetic perception within rational precision, and, within a finite reality, to find the possibility of a building that keeps growing.
Practice & Technique
MACH's work spans architecture, interiors, landscape, exhibition and furniture design. We value the integrity of each project from concept to construction, believing that true architectural quality is born in the constant passage between imagination and reality. With experience in full-disciplinary technical coordination, cost control and construction delivery, we specialise in the systematic design of material, construction, colour and scale. We are particularly skilled in precise, surgical intervention of existing buildings; in exploring the contemporary union of modern technology and classical craft; and in developing bespoke construction systems shaped by each project's character — balancing construction efficiency with quality control.
